Comfortable accommodation with good-sized and well-appointed rooms very close to shops/restaurants in walking distance, town centre and residential area on the road above the property. Fairly clean place in the middle of the city. Btw, located right in the town center.

They kept the place clean, everything was perfectly fine. Location was absolutely perfect and excellent, in the centre of the city; I liked that. Besides, restaurants and pubs were near the building.

Beautiful and comfortable place, loved being there. The owner met us and explained everything. Unbeatable and convenient location with everything at the door, it was short walk to restaurants, residential area on the road above the property and the centre. Overall experience was wonderful.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent and the room was beautifully furnished and accessorised. The location was perfect, with easy access to the town centre and stunning views from the garden. The staff, especially Elizabeth, were helpful and gave us a thorough tour of the property.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with the addition of a coffee machine and bath mats when stepping out of the shower.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful property in Tavistock. The house, a lovingly restored 1851 townhouse, was simply stunning. From the moment I entered, I felt like I was in a home away from home. The attention to detail in the furnishings and accessories was outstanding, creating a truly luxurious atmosphere. The central location of the house made it convenient for exploring the town and its surrounding areas.

Perfect location for visiting local sites and exploring the small town. Friendly locals and great food options nearby, especially the Chinese restaurant and The Cornish Arms. The town itself is lovely to stroll around. The house is beautifully furnished and accessorized, giving it a homely feel. The garden at the top of the house offers amazing views over the valley.
The cleanliness of the property was a major letdown. The fridge was dirty and didn't close properly, and there were layers of burnt bread crumbs under the toaster.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome I received from Elizabeth, the owner of the property. She personally gave me a guided tour of the Town House, showcasing its impressive facilities and beautifully furnished rooms. The location of the property was perfect for exploring Tavistock and its surrounding areas, with many attractions within walking distance. I especially enjoyed the delicious food at the nearby Chinese restaurant and The Cornish Arms. The spacious and comfortable accommodations, complete with ensuite facilities, made my stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen provided ample space for preparing meals and the dining room and lounge were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like clean towels and glasses placed conveniently by the bed. Despite some minor quirks, like the parking situation and occasional noise from outside, I found the overall charm of the Town House to be undeniable. With its secluded courtyard and hidden garden, it offered a peaceful retreat from the bustling town. I would definitely recommend the Town House to anyone looking for a delightful stay in Tavistock. my experience was excellent and I would gladly return in the future.
